SUNDAY SCHOOL
IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD!
We are looking for volunteers to be part of the Action Team for the children’s Sunday School program… FAITH VILLAGE at KUMC. This ministry of our church is vital in raising our children to be disciples for Jesus. Faith Village uses the rotation model for teaching. We concentrate on one theme a month using a variety of ways to share Gods message: drama, crafts, singing. games, kitchen, etc. .

SMALL GROUP
Here at Kasson & Pleasant Corners United Methodist Churches, Small Groups have been meeting since the fall of 2017.
What is a Small Group?
A Small Group is a group of people who meet twice a month either in person or through zoom and share their faith walk together. This group is designed to provide a place for people who want to know God or know more of God, to grow-starting where they are. It is a confidential environment where members can share, support each other and grow in their faith.
Why should I be part of a Small Group?
We want our faith to make a difference in the way we live our lives. Christian life is a fluid process. People tend to either grow & mature in their faith or decrease in their commitment to their faith. The mission of our church is to “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world”. Disciples is the only thing Jesus cares about, the only number he is counting. Not our attendance on Sunday, budget or buildings. Small Groups is a place to encourage each other to move forward, to step up in different dimensions of being a disciple of Jesus.
Who is in a Small Group?
Small Groups are open to everyone! Members of both churches and non-members. Currently we have 5 groups meeting. Groups have anywhere from 2 to 10 members. Each group has a coach who helps facilitate the group.
When does a Small Group meet?
Currently we have 3 Small Groups:
Monday evening via zoom – Coach Marina Castner
Tuesday 2:00 in person – Coach Ruth Schomburg
Wednesday via zoom – Coach Chuck Coleman
New groups are welcome to form.
